Epoxidized soybean oil is a widely used polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plasticizer and stabilizer, providing excellent heat and light stability. It has good compatibility with PVC, low volatility, low migration, and is non-toxic, making it suitable for almost all PVC products. For soft products, adding 2-3 parts can significantly improve heat and light stability. In agricultural films requiring high weather resistance, the dosage can reach 5 parts or more. When used in combination with polyester plasticizers, it prevents the migration of the polyester plasticizers. The United States allows epoxidized soybean oil with an iodine value below 6 and an epoxy value above 6 to be used in food packaging materials. This product is part of a series; epoxidized cottonseed oil, epoxidized rapeseed oil, etc., have similar properties and uses.
